A symbol of renewal, the new Medway St footbridge replaced the twisted earthquake damaged one that symbolised the destructive nature of the 2010 Christchurch Earthquakes. The Bridge connects residents of Avonside and Richmond through the Red Zone Parklands. This painting is part of Margot's Otautahi, a New Perspective series.
